Buttons:
- A (ADJUST, top left): enters and exits setting mode
- B (LIGHT, top right): turns on the illumination
- C (MODE, bottom left): switches between modes
- D (SEARCH, bottom right): scrolls through options and changes values
Setting the time and date: Hold down A until the seconds start flashing. Press C to move through the settings: seconds, city code, hour, minutes, year, 12/24-hour format, month, day, Daylight Saving Time (DST), and illumination duration. For each one, use D (+) and B (–) to change the value (for city code, D scrolls eastward and B scrolls westward). To toggle 12/24-hour format or DST, simply press D. Press A to exit and save.
World Time: Enter the mode by pressing C. Press D to scroll eastward through the 48 city codes (31 time zones). To turn Daylight Saving Time on or off for a specific city, hold down A for about one second while that city is displayed. To swap your Home City with the World Time city currently shown, press A and B at the same time.
Alarms: Enter the mode by pressing C. Use D to scroll through the 5 alarms and the Hourly Time Signal. To set an alarm, select it with D and hold down A until the hour starts flashing. Press C to move between hour, minutes, and alarm type (one-time or daily). Use D (+) and B (–) to change the hour and minutes, and press D to toggle between one-time and daily alarm. Press A to exit. To turn an already-configured alarm on or off, select it with D and press A to cycle between off, one-time alarm on, and daily alarm on. To test the sound, hold down D while on that alarm.
Hourly Time Signal: In Alarm Mode, use D to scroll to the Hourly Time Signal and press A to turn it on or off. It beeps once every hour on the hour while active.
Countdown Timer: Enter the mode by pressing C. To configure it, hold down A until the time starts flashing, press C to move between hours, minutes, and seconds, and use D (+) and B (–) to adjust each value. Press A to exit. To start it, press D. To pause it, press D again, and press D once more to resume. To stop it completely and return to the starting time, first pause with D and then press A. When it reaches zero, the alarm sounds for 10 seconds or until you press any button.
Stopwatch: Enter the mode by pressing C. Press D to start and stop the stopwatch. While it's running, press A to record a split time (SPL appears on the display), and press A again to release the split and return to elapsed time. With the stopwatch stopped, press A to reset it to zero. It measures up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59.99 seconds.
Mute function: In any mode (except setting screens), hold down C to turn the button operation tone on or off. When muted, the MUTE indicator appears on the display. Note that this also changes the watch's current mode.
Illumination: Press B to turn on the LED light. You can set it to last 1.5 or 3 seconds, adjusting this within the time-setting sequence.
