Your watch is assembled by hand and shipped from Orlando, United States. We do not use dropshipping or outsource overseas like other modders. This sets us apart from the competition by allowing us to maintain a level of quality control that others simply do not offer. This is where we assemble your watch with meticulous care and personally inspect every part before and after your custom watch is completed.

What is a Hands-On Time hand built watch?
All of our watches begin with a world renowned Seiko movement at their core. From there, we hand select premium quality aftermarket components to create distinctive and personalized watches.
Each watch goes through precise modifications and refinements, resulting in a truly unique creation. Precision and quality are evident in every piece we make.
How is the quality and durability of the watches?
We take pride in creating timepieces of the highest quality. Our formula is simple: expert craftsmanship and quality components.
Our watches feature some of the most recognized Japanese movements, such as the NH35, NH34, VK63, and VK64, among other additional models. These movements are known for their precision, reliability, and strong performance.
Our cases are made from 904L stainless steel, known for its exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, offering superior clarity and excellent scratch resistance.
Are the watches water resistant?
Our watches have a 5 ATM water resistance rating equivalent to 50 meters of depth and are ideal for everyday wear.
Please also avoid environments with high heat and high humidity, such as steam showers, hot tubs, and saunas. Sudden temperature changes or contact with hot water can cause condensation inside the watch, which may affect the clarity of the crystal and the function of the movement.
Please avoid swimming and diving activities, as prolonged submersion in chlorinated or salt water can gradually wear down the crown gaskets and compromise water resistance.
Please ensure the crown and pushers are securely tightened to prevent moisture from entering. Water damage is not covered under warranty. For more information about our warranty, click here.
How long does it take to build the watch after I place my order?
If your watch is marked as In Stock, it means it is one of our already designed pieces and we already have the parts ready. In most cases, it takes us 2 to 3 business days to hand assemble, test, and package your watch before shipping.
If your watch is a Special Order, it means it is a fully custom piece. Once the order is placed, we source the necessary parts and begin the assembly process as soon as everything arrives. Please allow approximately 2 to 3 weeks for this process.
What if I am not satisfied with my watch, can I return it?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your new timepiece, we offer a 3 day period to request a return. This means you can place your order with confidence, knowing you will have up to 3 days after delivery to request it.
Is there any warranty on the watches?
Peace of mind is important when purchasing one of our watches. That is why all of our watches come with a 2 year warranty from the date of original purchase.
Can I customize a watch?
Yes, we do accept custom watch orders. You can choose the style, dial, bezel, bracelet, and other details, and we can build it specifically for you. If you have an idea you would like to bring to life, contact us and we can begin the process.

How do I adjust my watch bracelet size?
Your watch will come with a free tool kit to help you remove links as needed and adjust the bracelet size. Please follow the adjustment instructions here.
